Hi

I am looking to lower my 2015 SE Cali and have viewed genuine vw 30mm Lowering springs online. My brother in-law is able to fit the springs for me to help save some ££. I am also going to be fitting 18'' alloys.

Couple of questions:
What is the max front axle load of the Cali SE? (Do i need XL springs or normal)
Does the head lights need to be adjusted after lowering?
Will someone else fitting the springs other than a VW approved garage affect my warranty?

I am away working at the moment so unable to check the vehicle for axle weights. Looking to purchase springs online so that they are there for when i get home.

Any advise regarding fitting genuine vw lowering springs will be apreciated.

Thanks

Can't advise on what springs but I would say it's almost certain that if you fit non vw parts or fit them yourself it will affect the warranty.
Why would vw warrant parts that aren't theirs.

Hi Briwy

I intend to use genuine VW parts. So do you think if someone else fitted genuine VW parts other than VW that will affect my warranty??

It shouldn't if fitted correctly, but it will according to VW.
