Mine is not a Brandrup, it's a Comfortz, and the tabs go towards the back. Should imagine yours are the same.A plea for help to combat the terrible Brandrup instructions!! I'm half way through fitting the Isotop to our Ocean and about to do battle with the velcro tabs in the front. One thing that isn't clear from the instructions, or anyone else's descriptions that I could find, is which way round the 'hook' end should go when you squeeze it into the roof lining? ie. should the hooks be facing towards the outside of the van or the inside? Any help gratefully received
Thanks
They are on the Comfortz, hopefully someone with a Brandrup will read this!
I guess you will be itching to get it fitted but you really need the weather to be a bit warmer for the Velcro to adhere properly. I’m sure the shop will have a new one with you before then...... alas, it just rings out. No joy with webchat either

Yes, that might work but I got mine in November at the Bolsover open day, and even though the air in the van heated up ok the metal parts around the roof that the Velcro sticks to were cold and were prone to misting. So I decided to save the Velcro that came with the liner and use some I already had from the old Comfortz liner. I will replace it when the weather gets warmer, or if it is still stuck ok I might just leave it and keep the original in reserve........ I was thinking of turning the heating on tbh
I used two of the new £10 notes to help slide the tabs in, this worked a treat!! Obviously, for those less well off, £5 notes should work just as well!!Hi Charles,
My above mentioned instructions were for fitment to a Beach. The Isotop lV for your Ocean is slightly different to that of the Beach. The Ocean version doesn't require screws. Instead there are three large black velcro tabs that have a sort of hinge to divide each of them into two halves. You have to force these three tabs between the joint in the front of the roof (see instructions for exact details). They are a tight fit. The Isotop attaches to the exposed section of these tabs that dangle down.
