How do you wash your Cali?

great to meet you and the family too Mark - Ariana loved staying up super late for once (and without her big sister who usually takes over proceedings, but who took herself off to bed!) and really enjoyed sitting with Toby looming the hours away! she was sorry that we had packed up and were ready to go when they had just started up again in the morning! hope to see you all again at the next meet!

Hi all,

Well we don't in fact use any water or detergents at all, but simply a product called showroom shine. It's very easy to apply, simply wipe off with a micro fibre cloth and hey presto you have a beautiful stunning shiny vehicle with a terrific protective coating.

I have to say though, that if your cali is very dirty, then it would be a good idea to quickly was off the dirt with clean water.

How we Snow Foam and Wash our Cali without Mains Power or Water.

We Snow Foam first with the Hand pump Foam bottle. https://amzn.to/3zOKZtr mine came with FREE samples of detergent to wash or foam your vehicle.
Let the foam dwell for a while then put a grit guard https://amzn.to/3zPVQDE in a bucket and wash gently with the
Microfiber extendable mop https://amzn.to/3OnShbG (this really saves your back and I can reach across the roof with it)
Then rinse with a fresh bucket of water still using the grit guard and mop.

Not bad for almost 8 yrs, kept outside 24/7, and a 114,000 miles.
Bucket, wash mitt, hose and Autoglym wash n wax.

Washed my Ocean yesterday and decided to raise the roof and clean the roof edge seal.Good job as noticed the two from drain holes blocked. Quite a build up of dirt under the trim panels.Cleaned out corners and unblocked drain holes.Gently unblocked the drain holes with the Covid test probe. )) Worth a check next time your washing your camper.
