** Important News: New Vehicle Registrations on Hold

I’ve only dealt with dealer so don’t even know order number but it sounds like the information he gave was accuracte as other posts above have confirmed. It looks like things are finally moving
 
Yes seems like they can all look forward to messages like this one from the legendary Ismahil & Luke.

Euro 6 has many categories the question is not whether the fix will be compliant but into which category will our vehicles be assigned too. I don't doubt the lab controlled test are compliant with the emission category specified FOR our respective vehicles, the question is are the RWTs compliant too. If not then our vehicle moves up to the next category up in terms of attracting a gift year increase in the VED due. This is where the issue lies.

I just chatted to Luke & was told the same news. I'm pleased to let you know Roger, that your California Ocean arrived at the port of exit in Emden today. I expect that it will be assigned a ship for th UK within the next couple of days. Hooray progress at last.

Is the Makassar Highway the only boat that vw use for sheerness? It’s currently en route to Sheerness, assuming a day to unload and a day to get back to Emden, we should be loading on Tuesday! Not that I’m remotely excited you understand...:Grin
 
Even without an order number Luke was able to confirm our Cali is also at Emden waiting to board a ship for uk. :)

Brilliant that you've kept this, do you have it framed & on display at home? ;)

Watch all the ships and all the ports everyone there is a California with your name on it coming to a dealer near to you very soon.

I suspect only one or two ship are used for the routes between Emden & the UK depending where your dealer is. Check with Ismahil or Luke for the ship name and arrival port.

It's so great to see that this episode is nearing its end. Hopefully it will feel a lot like Christmas especially for those who missed out on those mid to late December deliveries. :thumb

Just had the same reply (without calling me Roger) wonderful news for us all. I’m just hoping people with Cali’s over here waiting can now have them registered and soon.

You’re so right lol. I was on my way to bed and thought I’d check the site for any updates. Then went into Benny Hill mode running round trying to find my order number to check with Luke. Now the night seems young. :cheers :talktothehand:pinkbanana
