Here in Belgium all the prices at the pump went up also , reason they gave is the higher amount of bio-product in the end product wich is making fuel more expencive.....
So they are putting in less fuel/liter and more other additional stuff and still charge more saying the war in the midlle east is making oil more expencife?

Any reason is good for them to higher the price imo , we are the cows that needs to be milked as much as possible.
I'm not letting it get to me , when the tank is empty i fill up ....

I used to work in the international security business and "experts" say lots of things. Rather than relying on some self-described expert (especially an Iranian one) quoted in the Daily Mail, you'd be better IMO to follow UK FCO travel advice:

In my experience, FCO travel advice is usually pretty reliable, balanced and unbiased.

For UAE the FCO webpage, at the time I'm typing this, is currently only saying "remain vigilant", and keep checking back there for any further advice/developments before and during travel.

I wouldn't have any big safety concern about visiting Dubai/UAE at this point and will be passing through there myself in a few weeks.

I don't think I'd particularly want to be loitering unnecessarily around Jebel Ali port in Dubai (where the US fleet hangs out) but other than that I'll obviously be keeping an eye on the news.

EDIT: Ha, just checked out the Iranian 'expert' the Black Dog Daily Mail is quoting: one Mohammed Marandi, looks to be same as (or closely associated with) Seyed Mohammed Marandi, also of Tehran Univ, proud alumnus of Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and evidently still very pro-regime from his Twitter feed. Advising US, Brits etc to get out of the Middle East. There's a surprise then.
