Long time T2 VW owner - first time T5 California.

Had early bays for many years but decided to move into a newer van, we hope this one will be a keeper, collecting next week. 2005, one owner from new, imported from Spain. The auto poptop isn’t working, (motor? Sensor?) does anybody know of a VW specialist in Lincolnshire that could carry out a poptop service and work to diagnose and fix the problem and do some auto trimming as the headlining is very tired and so are some other upholstery bits, it is 20 years old but we think it’s worth it. Try lifting pop top fully and down 5 or 6 times. Might just have air in the hydro. Welcome to the club

I’ve used https://www.lincsvwcommercials.co.uk/ for work on the roof hydraulics. They may be able to do the roof corrosion too. If not, Turbo Tom in Boston does excellent bodywork repairs. https://turbotomsautos.co.uk/?page_id=54
