Mattress

Hi can anyone recommend the best mattress setup for the lower bed in an Ocean. My wife has a bad back and with the regular mattress topper has problems sleeping.
It almost feels like there is a hump in the centre of the bed. I have checked without the topper on and it all looks level. Any ideas as to the most comfortable mattress?

I have a duvalay and can recommend.
VWs 'comfort mattress' comes from a prison dungeon, its the worst thing about the camping side of the bus

Thermarest mondo king is amazing

As good as my bed at home even if sleeping on concrete - I use it for tent camping mostly and is great even on rough ground

Personally I use a zone sleep ultra in the van — it’s not as comfortable as the thermarest though.
Took the thermarest to France and when too hot sleep on it outside under the awning.
