Currently trying to sleep without rolling down a hill 6 degree angle no chocks.....
What’s the max angle that is sensible ?

Sideways I would prefer as level as possible, not only for a good night's rest, but also for saving the scissor mechanism of the roof.
A small amount of side angle elevation isn't that bad, but if you roll down one way, it's possibly too much. Isn't there a way to level the van sideways, and get the front upwards? That way, sleeping will be more comfortable and you will save the scissor mechanism some stress too.

If the handbrake is on and it’s in P (or in gear) it is unlikely to move. I wouldn’t sleep in the pop roof as you’ll either likely slide off and into the downstairs, or slide into the bellows and put stress on them.
