The guy in the video forgot the step from the instruction manual about rolling up the tent material and making sure it is behind and beneath the seat belt like webbing material above the latches before closing them. Just a matter of time before he punches two small holes in the material by catching it in the hook of the latch.

The sliding door is noisy, but aren’t all VW doors? I think once everything is settled in I should be able to close it quieter. Haven’t needed to yet tho as most sites we’re visiting are empty

You Cali looks great mate, I should be joining the ranks in January. How have you found the first days with it? Any annoying squeaks or rattles? Or do you just have permanent smile and find yourself gazing lovingly at it?
