Yes. The fault was caused by failure of small self tapping screw securing the housing holding the twin pins into the socker adapter. I have removed the pins from socket and glued them back to the adapter body. This was resulting control panel reading. It still shows 0.2 A drain even with green light of inverter now off. Presume this is current powering the control panel?

Correct. Once the Control Panel goes into Standby Mode that drops to 0v.
