Can I ask what colour seat cloth this is called and how it was described on your order form?
Thanks, SB

Try press and hold the lock button and the mirrors should fold up or have you tried that? Got caught out with mine on that, didn't hold the button down.Yes - one of the first I recon... spotted so far that there is no wireless charger despite the dealer/me/ spec saying it should have it, and the mirrors do not fold when locking due to a software bug... Has the pop in/out window on the door as well.
In the honeymoon period and She’s nice!

Thanks for the update, software bug you couldn’t make it. Good luck and I hope you really enjoy, I’ll see you on T6.1 defect post in due course.Yes - one of the first I recon... spotted so far that there is no wireless charger despite the dealer/me/ spec saying it should have it, and the mirrors do not fold when locking due to a software bug... You are a legend! That’s sorted it! No software fault after all - Someone somewhere else on the forum mentioned this and I just assumed it was a software thing. Many thanks!!Try press and hold the lock button and the mirrors should fold up or have you tried that? Got caught out with mine on that, didn't hold the button down.
Found out at home - however... just read some advice from Hamish S a couple of posts up this string, and he has cured the issue for me - no fault after all (just a long press on the lock key fob)Looks great. Must be nice now the waiting is over.
Not sure I will be too happy if mines handed over with a software fault. How did the dealer explain that?
@Katrina... this is what VW Chat told me Monday this week. "So I can see that the order is at status 38 which means it has been released for shipping at the Port of Exit, so it's just waiting to be loaded onto a ship. It arrived at the Port of Exit on the 15th of September and can take up to 7-10 working days to be loaded on to a ship. Once it is loaded onto the ship it usually takes around 1-2 days to arrive at the UK Port." .. that makes it Sept 29th to be loaded. I checked yesterday and it is still not loaded on a ship yet Lets hope ours are on the next ship!Have you heard anymore on yours ? I tried chat again this morning and mine is still at the Exit port
@Katrina.. Just contacted VW and.."Thanks for your patience. I am happy to confirm that your California Ocean has been shipped and its on its way to the Port of Grimsby".Have you heard anymore on yours ? I tried chat again this morning and mine is still at the Exit port
@DoctorBob.. Many congrats on your new Ocean. I had a call from my dealer stating that I am not to expect "Flyscreens" anymore as the window is a completely different shape??? Anyone know what this means?Found out at home - however... just read some advice from Hamish S a couple of posts up this string, and he has cured the issue for me - no fault after all (just a long press on the lock key fob)
The 6.0 included fly screens for the sliding windows (above kitchen and in side door). The 6.1 no longer includes these as standard. When our Cali arrives I'm looking at getting one of these 3rd party screens:@DoctorBob.. Many congrats on your new Ocean. "Fly screens were originally not available on T6.1 California, they will now be offered as a cost option but i'm told will not be available until build week 48"
You'd have to ask VW. But I'd guess they'll be available to buy from parts at some point. So in theory given I have no build week allocated yet, if it turns out my build week is after week 48 can I add as change or will this delay the build week.

Just contacted VW and.."Thanks for your patience. I am happy to confirm that your California Ocean has been shipped and its on its way to the Port of Grimsby".
It is on the Necker highway with an ETA at Grimsby of 17:35 today (just stalked the Necker Highway and its off the East Anglian Coast) I might be worth you checking again today for status 39.
