Hi all,
I am at Nordkapp (Norway) and was a bit surprised that overnighting is currently not allowed. Maximum parking time is now 5 hours, apparently because of fire concerns after a motorhome on the crowded parking lot caught fire earlier this summer. At least until the first of september, says the article in the link below.
Just thought I’d share that here. There might be others that get most of their travel information and inspiration from this forum. I’ve read so many stories on here about Nordkapp (thank you @WelshGas!) that I never bothered to look it up before I went.
As an aside: the weather here in the north has been very nice and extremely warm. Some nights too hot to sleep even.
