OCEAN to BEACH

This thread is comedy gold.

Well, if certain people keep banging on how supposedly superior the Beach is compared to the SE/Ocean then I’ll respond. They are 2 different vehicles. Both can be very flexible within certain limitations for each vehicle, and those limitations for the Beach are as a Campervan and the SE/Ocean as a people carrier and load carrier.

Both can go camping, one as a Campervan in all seasons and weathers and the other as a van for camping with limitations unless really well equipped for all seasons and all weathers.

As it is built the Ocean is a Campervan. It has fixed camping equipment and the Specialist Insurance companies recognise it as a Campervan, not so for Beach which some companies won’t cover under their dedicated Campervan insurance.

Please could you answer the specific question posed? You’ve just made a tangential statement. My question was an affirmative or negative, not a prerequisite for a new narrative.

That's interesting. Your perception of this thread is 'certain people' professing the Beach to be better than an Ocean. I don't think it's any better or worse. Versatility/flexibility do not equate to superiority in most peoples minds. Simply multifaceted, more useful and appropriate for their current circumstances.
