patch on the canvas pop top

Hi new to the forum and just started looking at California's, i viewed one today at a VW dealers which had a few small issues but the thing that stuck out to me was a patch on the pop top canvas, its a 2021 with 41000 miles. Is this considered minor wear on a van this age, how fragile is the canvas on these vans?

The mileage won’t be an issue but for regular Cali users it’s quite high - is it an ex rental van?
A lot depends on the price and what you’re willing to live with. I got one side of mine caught in side mechanism so put a small patch to fix it (also put a patch in the same spot on the opposite side to fix my ocd!)

Hi thanks for your reply, as far as i know its had two owners so i don't think its been a rental. The price is £60,000

If you want the van , insist on a new canvas as part of the deal ?
