Picking up Two Tone - what should I receive

Picking up first ever CamperVan.
looking forward to it.
I’m writing a list as to what should be in the Cali Ocean when I receive it.
it’s an ex 2 month rental.
List so far.:
first aid kit and hazard triangle
2 keys
1 remote aux heater key fob
Front floor mats
Chairs and table
Kitchen bowl
Cutlery drawer
Steel spare wheel (I have a Spare wheel wheel lock on its way in post)

Other items as per the extras list
I need to look for and how do I check.
tow bar prep !
Traffic sign rec.
Pro radio
and is it really a single time horn ? !
Is the rear camera on the central screen ?
What’s power latching on sliding door mean ?

Tyres are all season continentals. So should spare be an all season too ?

I wondered what else do I need to look for ?


I’m taking a half full 907
Electric hookuo cable. 25m 2.5mm
With ends made up of 13amp 3 pin plug into a female 16amp.
and I’ve made up a crossover for some EU sites.

Ive bought the extra year so will have 24 months manufacturers warranty.
Will that include European breakdown for the 4 years and 10 months as well ?

There's a good checklist for what to check when collecting/buying your california in the resources section of this forum you can download/print off.

The power latching is on the side sliding door and rear tailgate which pulls the door closed the final few inches and means you don't need to slam the doors (makes a weird noise as it pulls the door shut and probably louder than just closing the door normally to be honest).

The rear reversing camera comes on the main radio screen in the middle of the dashboard (for a T6, not sure for other models).

Not sure about how to check the towbar prep.

The traffic sign recognition I suppose should show when driving, but don't have it on ours so sorry can't help.

The Pro radio I think must be the one with built in sat navigation, but not sure?

In Europe only 2 years warranty is given, any repairs carried out there during the UK Warranty period have to be paid and reclaimed immediately on return to UK.

If all season tyres supplied by the Factory then spare should match.

As Grumpy Grandad, they are built into the front A pillars on the left/right hand side of the windscreen.
You should also get two fabric/material blinds/curtains which stick onto the driver and passenger side window frames with magnets.

I would definitely download the checklist as mentioned from the resources part of the forum as it lists everything that should be there on the van.
