Portable toilet for beach

I use the same shower tent as mentioned above, installs in seconds and folds up very small. For the toilet part, I have a 5 galllon paint bucket. I then took a toilet seat and cut the plastic pieces underneath to fit the bucket. Very comfortable. I put two plastic bags (between the toilet seat and the bucket) in case one leaks. Another benefit is the bucket can be filled with supplies, usually cleaning supplies, gloves, etc. Works great in a pinch :)

How and what do you do with the contents?

Pretty sure my toilet is the cheapest here.
Reusable, easy to empty and no chemicals required.
Just have to remember not to use it to fill the fresh water tank... :headbang

And that's why you should never have a curry in a campervan, 5 gallons????!!!!!!! ;)
I hope you empty it of said replies if you need to go! :D :D :D :D

Pop-a-loo packs up small and is ideal for such a need as you describe. Also plus 1 for the quick toilet tent option. Both pack up small and have our recommendation.

Not with the 2 seat bench but it does with 3 seat bench beach
Good to know. The larger one is slightly more ‘comfortable’ but it doesn’t fit under the Ocean rear shelf. But the 335 does the job. ;)

We use a dometic toilet stored under a dunmail leatherette cover used upside down, doubles up as a foot rest and is ready, especially handy for the missus when stuck in traffic jams

Hi folks, struggling to find a definitive answer in old threads. Can anyone recommend the best solution for a portable toilet for a beach? Space is premium with kids on board. Looking really for emergency only solution and the odd wild camp. Cheers!

We have beach camper based on T7 and we have two kids, golden retriever so I understand your situation.
We decided to go withj something like https://www.temu.com/ul/kuiper/un9....VoEn28vrNkg8t0iYrHEKCxR2XhV-CBQUaAi-vEALw_wcB

I have a little composting toilet for emergency use. https://boxio.de/en/products/composting-toilet

Stupid price for what you get. I would just get that decathon one and bag of sawdust i think if i was to do it again. But i do like the fact this has no chemicals, separates the waste, (so when closed there is basically no smell) and can actually be used for a few days, and then the bag can be dumped in any bin. It's saved me a few times and it weighs nothing.

i also have their sink, and it's great! I used to have a coast, but now with a beach i actually think this little boxio sink is better and more useable than my old coast sink. (because it is bigger, i can move it inside and outside, and i don't have the worry of cleaning the water container in the same way, i just wash it at home.)
