You would need to have a awning or small tent to store it in while camping.

It's really heavy by the way, so unless you need it you might not use it as much as you think.

To answer the original question, personally I wouldn't consider upgrading my T5 to a later T5, I would however consider upgrading to a T6 mostly to get a new warranty. Saying that seeing as how it'll cost me about £8k I can't see this happenening soon.
