powering my laptop via its 3 pin plug?

Not sure if this will answer some of the questions. He mentions the earlier versions having Euro sockets In the second half of the video.

Okay, cheers, I’m thinking it is under the drivers seat. There’s a large heatsink so that’ll be it.
I’ll grab a pic at the weekend of what’s above the rear Lesuire battery.
That will be the Mains Charger.

Makes sense, as it’s right by the inlet of the mains in. Cheers @WelshGas

Does the socket on drivers seat base work for charging laptop assuming within 300W, can’t get it to charge at all, help! Power off at home thanks to Storm Yohan

Depends. With a 300W one it is likely the later one with a flat sine wave, so should be fine. The earlier ones CAN goose a laptop charger and will definitely goose a toothbrush charger. Most laptops use up to 90W units, so well within the 300W.

Have you checked the obvious? Does the charger work elsewhere? Does something else work ok? Phone charger? Have you checked fuses?

I hear you’re breaking wind records over the pond there. Keep safe everyone.
The power should just work, I’ve charged my MacBook up from it before now.

The socket has a raised edge that prevents some charger plugs from correctly seating in the socket and switching the inverter on.
Try an extension lead (preferably with a neon power indicator) with a standard plug on the end and then plug your charger into the extension lead sockets
