Pressing issue/sticky situation

Quite out of touch with those of us who bought outright to keep and don’t like stickers.

1. No amount winking can fix that post.

2. The Beach badge is not one of the stickers this thread is about.

3. Yes, I have removed it, along with all the badging on the tailgate (quite obvious in my icon pic.) Personal taste, just like everyone else here, not for resale.

So you agree with me then. You've moded your vehicle by de-badging it, and you, not the finance company own it.
I doubt if you would have done that if you were on a PCP contract as it would break the Ts & Cs unless you planned to make the final payment.

But, getting back to the OPs original question, nothing to do with whether you like or dislike vehicle stickers, but where should he place the Club Sticker on his vehicle?

De-badging is a factory option in Germany.

No not off topic. I was merely illustrating that we all have different tastes and a dislike for stickers is perfectly legitimate.

Interesting, so what does my avatar say about me? Before you answer, I ought to explain that I am not the "absolute bounder" depicted in my avatar nor have I ever had any intention of emulating him. He was merely a favourite actor from a bygone age.

As for stickers being a way of telling the outside world a little bit about yourself, sorry but I just don't feel the need. There are better ways to do that if one wants to.

I just don't get them!

Why would anyone else be interested in where you've been or what your political views are on a particular subject or how "surfers do it" or that you have a particular breed of show animal onboard or what faith you have or which football team you support or dare I say it, what club you belong to? Who else really cares.

However, where my lack of understanding turns into full blown dislike are for those bods who usually drive beaten up mud covered four wheel drive vehicles emblazoned with the blatantly obvious "You only have one life so live it". This is usually code for:, my anti social hobby is churning up bridle ways into an impassable quagmire.

Unless there is a purpose to a sticker e.g a parking permit or similar then imo they serve no purpose what so ever.

Just my grumpy old man views so don't start throwing your toys about.

Not a fan of stickers on the outside of my vehicle (personal choice) however I do have the club sticker proudly displayed on the rear offside window. 1: to show support for the club, 2: as a subtle invite for like minded people (other members) to stop and have a chat, when on site.
I also have some stickers on the interior which make me smile/bring back memories. These are mine, I like them, and at a risk of sounding rude, I don't care what anyone else thinks of them.
Each to their own.
