Recommendations for new winter electric heater?

Had an opportunity to test my new Kampa Cube at Glencoe on Wednesday night, temp -3 deg C. Despite what others have said I found it quite noisy, and at maximum temperature setting it never switched itself off on the integral thermostat. Useful for background heating when on hook up but is no substitute for the main van heater.
