Replacement Battery 08 Cali

It's that time of year when batteries let you down and mine is stuggling to hold enough charge for more than a day or two. The battery fitted is a Varta and is probably the orignial fitted. The engine in the 2.5 TDI 180. Any replacement recommendations please?

Had a Shield battery fitted seems ok. cost was £96.00
