Have no idea. I think you better ask a beach owner with a roof box.Just out of interest: How does this conversion cope with a roof box mounted? Does the roof stay up, when 50 kg is on top? Is it easy to get up and down with a box (or other utensils) mounted on the roof?
Not got a roof box but once tried lifting the roof with a 25kg kayak on the roof. Very heavy and gave up after about 30cm. The weight distribution of a kayak would be different (further forward) to a roof box though.Have no idea. I think you better ask a beach owner with a roof box.
