Safety Pack

Hello new to this Forum but needing advice please.....we have just ordered a California SE and have been quoted a 14 week delivery time. We ordered the safety pack as this seemed good value for money however we have now been informed by our local dealer that VW will not accept the order for the safety pack unless we order the Xenon headlights too! They can not provide a reason for this and there doesn't appear to be anything in the brochure or on the website. has anyone come across this issue when ordering a new Cali or have you managed to order the safety pack without being told you need Xenon headlights too? At £1300 extra for the headlights it is a costly extra! Thanks in advance

Hello! Also new to the forum after placing our order a few weeks back! We have had exactly the same issue where an error occurred when the dealer put the order into the VW system. I don`t think the dealers know about this as it seems to be another(!) mistake in the recent brochure. We went for the xenons in the end after reading many posts on this forum singing their praises, but it is an expensive option!
