Uk spec Differant EU !

A lot of Conversion owners often don't realise exactly what you get with a California.
There are some very nice conversions as long as you use them as Summer holiday vehicles. Once you start using them as All Season / touring vehicles then their limitations become very obvious, and , as GrannyJen has already mentioned, if you cost up a conversion based on a Multivan with ALL the basic California addons then it costs the same if not more but with carpeted walls and IKEA kitchen units.:bananadance
 
Dusseldorf Salon which I visited yesterday is the biggest show in Europe. VW had a lovely stand. Interesting conversions inc some off road ones. As for the MB Marco...sorry but it's just too glitzy.....

VW just need to get the reliability in order then all would be OK.
 
I can never get the logic of a carpeted wall and a bare plastic floor :(

I'm not too sure where in a cali you could carpet a wall as most of the wall has useful bits hanging off it.
