My GC has covered the grand total of 1500 miles since first registered on 1 march 2020. Do I need to get oil changed before (hopefully) our first proper tour next month. Planning 2-3000 miles in Spain.

Check the service indicator on the MFD, it will tell you when it needs doing.
I'm guessing that its on a longlife - ie approx 20k miles or 2 years whichever is soonest service interval, so you should be ok for a bit.

Andy is spot on re service interval, I always change oil and filter on the first 5000 then resume as per the schedule.
