Service Interval Observation.

Would the dealer be happy to carry out a “major service” Foc to yourself, to ensure they have not made an “error” ?

That would resolve all issues !

Thanks for that but still not conclusive. It’s a T6 but I’m assuming same schedule applies

Every 40 000 miles or 4 years, whichever comes first
Note: Many dealers perform these tasks at every second service.

  • Renew the air filter element
  • Renew the fuel filter*
So, 27,500 miles but second service. Should they have been done?

Confusing !

There are two regimes, You have a choice apparently.

Has anyone asked their dealer to change the set up on their vehicle?
Yes I did when I had a new engine fitted back in Dec 2016.

Am now on 10k miles or yearly with the notice coming up on the dash display. I have never liked the 20K regime, way too long for the oil in my opinion.

I had new oil and filter in January last year at 9k miles (as it was a new engine thought it sensible not to push it) but I have only done 6k miles so far this year, so am waiting a little longer. Will do the MOT and service at the same time in March. As retirees, budgeting is always the issue for us now.
