Wow. Did the bird get up and fly away after that impact?
The big problem with this is sourcing an original style window. I believe there are plenty of aftermarket ones available but I’m not sure they’d be double-glazed. As a start point you’re probably as well giving VW a call with your chassis number to see whether they can get hold of a replacement. If they can’t, ask them for the part number so you can search elsewhere for a replacement. There’s a site in Germany - online-teile.com that specialises in sourcing new old stock parts for many brands. They may be able to help if VW can’t. After that you’re probably going to have to scour specialist breakers which I imagine will be very, VERY time consuming.
Also, it’s worth noting the window can be removed without having to take out the kitchen. There are three access holes visible along the rear edge of the unit when you lift the lid. It’s a bit nerve racking removing the window retaining nuts as they are out of view but if you’re careful it’s easily dealt with.
