I did a little modification to the universal Awning tie down kit this weekend to make it a bit more practical with our factory awning.

The standard kit has a very strong spring which I feel is too stiff and a bit of HD bungie cord would "give" a bit more and I also added an extra safety kador strip to compliment the metal clip that slots into top of the leg as I felt this could rattle out during a storm.

I’ll put that on my to do list. Those springs are on the heavy side and seem OTT.
