Recently my 2020 T6.1 had had a few software updates and also the SOS module was replaced. All working well now. I always use the same key and my wife takes the spare key. At the weekend we found her key did not work at all. New battery when we got home but still no joy.
Took the van to VW Citygate St Albans and they helpfully reprogrammed the key without a booking. According to the Technician some of the software updates do require the keys to be reprogrammed. Took him 20 minutes with the laptop whilst it connected with the mothership in Germany. Just wanted people to be aware as we did 3,000 miles around Europe this summer not knowing the spare key did not work!
