Looks great and quite similar to my own . On the front grille, are the slats either side of the VW badge chrome on yours? If so where did you get them? I bought some off ebay and they were rubbish so sent them straight back. Now looking for a decent set.

Please see link below, never had any problems with these at all, they are much cheaper than the original VW part but as far as I can tell they are not inferior (IMO), suggest when you call vanstyle you tell them it is for a california just to be sure the link below will also fit the cali, I am sure they do, I also bought some chrome window strips and indicator bezels, they have also lasted no problem.

This is such a good looking Cali

It was the inspiration for our final colour choice when we ordered ours new. Unfortunately, the 'old' Sportline wheels don't fit the facelift 180 models so we are having to go with the new Sportline wheels instead.
