This week I've bought '________' for my Cali

Yep! Hanging from the plastic cover on the seat. Just a random piece from a camping shop … but works quite well. Can even reach it from both seats while driving.
What's the bin to the right? Ta.

We bought an identical one from Towsure in the U.K. It's a Kampa item (I think that's how it's spelt). Hadn't thought of mounting it there though until I saw that post. We had it stood on the floor in roughly the same place. Much better mounted. Result!

Sterilised my water tank today. Had it empty all winter to avoid the risk of freezing. Ready to fill up again for the camping season.

Also bought an adapter plug for the hexagonal socket so the kids can watch the DVD player on those rainy camping nights.

Ok, after a couple of trips here's what i just ordered (eeeek!)
From vwcampershop:
Cab velour carpets anthracite
Habitation foldable carpet (5 week delay)
Draining board
Ladder (yippeeaiay!)

From calitop.eu
Kitchen shelf with hooks and roll holder
2 hooks
1 flexi-net

Cost a pretty packet altogether but as i resisted temptation before we got the cali I'm happy its stuff i think will enhance our enjoyment (and save a few arguments!)

Preparing for the second season, we work on small changes and enhancements.

One of them is the closets under the sink. They are actually not very functional and there are quite some lost space. So I went to IKEA and bougt some small drawers, but they where very heavy and actually smaler than the original. So I regret and took thr plunge towards these original ones.

It is really a huge difference. Very nice

Oh i love these! Where did you get them and were they really expensive? :)

It seems as it is a time with huge shopping activity ;-) Spring is coming!

Today we bought a set of BikeParkas for the bikes. We have been thru a few other brands, but the lack of quality is obvious the reason for failure. These are more expensive, but I assume hope and wish they are as rigid as they seem.

And after a season with the COBB and COBB stones, we decided to go gas. Well, our car accident had an impact beyond the Cali, so the COBB did take some punishment as well. So with that excuse we changed horse and went for a CADAC Safari Chef II – I bought two different hoses and adapters, so we should be able to use either the small gas cans or the type of bottles in the car. Hope I managed to get it right,

And finally, IKEA again was so kind to supply a few bits and pieces. Felt plates for the new drawers for instance.

The were (only) 299 € and very easy to fit. Ordered Sunday and got them Tuesday. It's a significant upgrade!

Thank you :) now, when i click that link i also see they have individual drawers on sale at 30 euros each drawer ... Can that be right? I had to use google translate to help my basic german but thats what it looks like to me (sorry if i get a bargain on the back of your lovely arrangement!)

I think that is just a drawer, you will need the other accessories to mount it … the pictures are quite misleading - but you can try to write them. Maybe I am wrong.

Dropped off at SMG at Cowfold today - Bike rack fitted inside 40 mins. Also solved my the spare bulbs issue by buying one of these. £14.95 - seems a good price. H7 kit for Ocean.

Good purchase! I have one for the house and one for the van. Make wonderful toasted sandwiches.

Love our ridge monkey XL . Not just for toasties look at recipes on ridgemonkey uk on YouTube. Made a delicious bacon/mushroom omelette in our recent Cali trip.
So easy to clean . Stops oil splatter.

Our recent purchases Pacmats.
Washable & waterproof easy to chuck over the Cali seats when dogs particularly wet/muddy. Also great for hiking trips/picnics/beach.

Aldi trip = mats ,TV, rock pegs, collapsible bucket and bowl and recharable dehumidifiers. Only went in to get some milk!!!!!!

I've had the joy of trailing the shops to find storage tubs to fit kitchen unit shelves. Everything was either too big or too small :headbang

Following recommendation from @GrannyJen, with cuppa in hand, I've paid a visit to plasticboxshop.co.uk. With their box dimensions tool am now happily ordering from the comfort of my home.

Managed to pick up a double memory foam topper from The Range for £19.99 which can be cut to fit. May not be a long-lasting solution but for that price, I'm happy if it lasts us a few trips to get started.

Bike rack fitted yesterday - Just the job! Photo now Cali cleaned!

Finally got the bike rack bought. Fitted it this morning (it's a fair old size to lift into position on your own, two people would have been easier!).
Bike remained on after a short drive down the M6. Really pleased with how it looks. Definitely one here for the Quasi camp.
:)

Bouncers "done and dusted instant detailing spray. Great results

Which rack is that? Looks like the T5 one?

I am thinking of getting one of the parking clock timers for the windscreen. I presently use the ones issued by the local service wherever i am.

Does anyone use them? I would be concerned that if the real thing is not on the dashboard it may get overlooked.
