Where would I put each oneAlso got a suit of alarms. smoke, carbon Monoxide and flammable gas. Where would you put each one?
I’m in Norway and bought a Euro Type C extension. I trimmed the plastic from the socket and inserted a standard U.K. to Euro adapter. This allows me to place the dehumidifier anywhere in the van. It’s currently in the boot. If you’re in the U.K. this should work. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B013UXQDQ8/?tag=eliteelect-21Where did you get this and what is it referred to? View attachment 28060 This little folding stool, makes putting skis and surfboards on the roof bars and fitting the Cali topper easier. It folds small and I keep it somewhere easy to access so I’ve been using it for all sorts including an extra seat, a small table and even for some snowboard prep.

I put boots on the step and gloves and hats on the floor just behind the drivers seat. I hang goggles on the lifted drivers seat arm-rest. I then hang clothes on the back of the two seats. With the heater on level one or two and the top popped it a window cracked for ventilation and a mini 25W dehumidifier on permanently everything dries nicely and I’ve had no problems with damp. What do you do with all your wet/damp clothes?

I remember your suggestions well. Simply ‘Cali’ has stuck. It’s my first one after wanting one for over a decade. Also my Instagram account is called Cali_the_campervan after the van I built in California when I was living there. Thanks again.Just out of interest @California4x4 what did you end up calling your van?
I. Need. To. Get. This!

Seriously though, this will help with the kids getting cold. How are you finding it works and where did you purchase from if you don’t mind me asking?
All the best
Thanks for your balanced feedback. Would you mind letter us know how you get on?I’m sure Marc Maier at https://www.caliheat.de/shop/ won’t mind me passing on his website. I have just tested fitting it today but haven’t yet tried it for sleeping. It seems well made and appears to be 3D printed rather than mass produced. The website claims to take 20-30% of the heat and transfer it. It doesn’t feel like much on first testing it. I’ll review it when I use it for camping in a couple of weeks.
What it should do is balance the heat slightly better as it will reduce the heat flow down below and push some of it up top. We’ll see. It’s certainly the best option I’ve seen so far.
did vw build a van so dangerous you need all these alarms?View attachment 27873 Also got a suit of alarms. smoke, carbon Monoxide and flammable gas. Where would you put each one?
