Bit of a 'wet' question perhaps?
Had our Cali for a year now and loving it - spent many days away already in rain and sun but last weekend for the first time we had a lot of wind-driven rain came through the vent holes at the top of the pop-up roof - the cali-topper sorted the problem out of course but we dont normally bother with it unless v.heavy rain forecast. I guess simple velcro patch will do the job?

Negative would be that you're blocking up the ventilation.

simplest to park up with the back to the wind, not always possible.

You could try to figure something out to block the rain to enter through the vent holes, leaving a bit of space between the solution and the vent holes.
Never thought of that before, but if I know there will be rain (or they predict rain), I put on my topper.

If it’s bad, we simply put a piece of duct tape on the windward vent hole and open the lee side window a bit further...
