Last word being a Brewery you can guess the rest.
Other than listen sympathetically & dish out a few freebies there’s not a lot they can do about anything.
If dealers havnt got spare resources & spare parts are unavailable it doesn’t mater how major faults are, they are not being repaired.
VWCC GB have very little say over warranty claims and especially any good will it’s mainly down to Germany and what they say. CC will take you down a very winding road which usually comes to a abrupt end with a big “NO” at the end, after thinking you were getting somewhere. It’s happened to us on a few occasions and when they say “NO” they mean it. With documented problems like the roof they have accepted a longer period for repairs as the roof is a ticking time bomb and can erupt (Or not) at any time. The only thing we got done was the Awning that fell apart a couple of months after the warranty expired. Then we had to pay a third contribution with the dealer paying a third and VW paying a third...I know that VW wouldn’t have paid a third because Awnings don’t cost £750. My contribution was £250. But that was better than nothing...Good one Andy!
Sorry VW CS..And yes VWCC is what you said. Customer services
