Wardrobe storage ideas please!

So back from a weekend away and its time to sort the wardrobe out i.e storage! I can’t deal with the mess it so quickly gets in!
Had a look at Yes shelves but there must be a cheaper option?
Thanks in advance
We went with Calitop wardrobe shelves. Give a little bit more depth than the ‘yes’ ones we found but can still access lower ones easily. We then use the packing cubes on the shelves! Relatively easy to fit (just lining the shelves straight was the fiddly issue in such a small space). Nice and quiet on a bumpy road too with nothing on them. Worth a look maybe.

We have three shelves in our Cali Ocean - the expensive ones - and use packing cubes for organisation. The packing cubes are great. But the shelves have drawbacks with the bench seat in the rear-most position. The bottom shelf makes getting the packing cubes into the bottom most area a bit difficult, so that's one point for consideration. The shelves are aluminium are light but sturdy enough to hold the weight. Overall, we like them but there are drawbacks. BTW, I also installed the safe in the bottom and cut carpet squares to fit the safe surround and lid. Even with the safe and shelves, we have enough room in the wardrobe to last us at least a week without doing laundry.

We bought a wardrobe storage hanger from Ikea. https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/p/blaeddrare-hanging-storage-with-7-compartments-grey-patterned-10474404/

Hanging it on the built in clothes rail was too far forward, wasting the space behind, and made the shelves slope at a funny angle so it hit the door, so we took the rail out and cut two aluminium rods a bit wider, slotting them under the top shelf so that we could balance it on the door frame.

We then have packing cubes which sit perfectly onto the shelves.

There’s space for the folding washing up bowl down the side too. Win win! IMG_5374.jpeg

Some clever modifications above but we don’t have the need to do anything other than simply hang up our clothes. We use hangers that the clothes don’t slip off easily. Each hanger has a “rig-out” on it, jeans over the horizontal bar and t-shirt or shirt and/or jumper on outside. Jackets and dry rain jackets are hung up too. Sure what else would you do with your jacket? You can see all the stuff easily, there’s no jumble, and if it’s unused it is not wrinkled.

Hey what hangers do you use?

I did a short video a while back now on some shelves which for me have been great.

Saw this vid, liked the shelves filled the link and £96 later had them coming.

4 days later brilliantly packed they arrived. Some may say expensive for to bits of aluminium but beautifully made. Excellent addition to the van.

Websites German and doesn’t say about postage but maybe as my German is non existent it might! But must have been included.

Thanks Andy looks like VW fitted them as standard and the fact they come out if you (she) wants handy room!

one word of warning and i solved this by adding some "no more nails" on each of the brackets. The sticky stuff used will fail when you hit hot weather. I.e. one big mess :)
