What have you bought for your Cali today :-)

Haha, I thought someone might have picked me up on this :D It is of course not to go in the van but provides me with the gas I need to refill my 907’s. I get about 6 cylinders worth for £54 :thumb Sure beats paying North of £40 per 907!
Are these are the three bits required to refill a 907?

Sort of.... the one on the left you will already have....... then you just need a hose with that fitting at one end and the push fit for the Calor at the other end :thumb

what refilling equipment do you use, chocks away?

Nah! I bought tyres today, not the van  (Only joking, truth is I’m indoors watching the rugby now:D)
May as well go out and take the pic mate :D in all seriousness would be great to see how they look on the van, they’re on my tyre shortlist

HIKEMAN Outdoor Waterproof... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0C3CMK2QY/?tag=vwcalifornia-21. Just bought 2 of these to use as sun / shower screens for the awning. Already have the Comfortz awning room but wanted something that packs much smaller/lighter for our summer euro trip. Really impressed with the quality for the price - I have some spare kador strip so will make a fixing for the front, and will just use awning bungees to attach to the awning arms.

Today i bought some wood for my Cali. Making some small pieces of furniture, the shoe box beside the bench, small corner table for the poptop, handy box between the front seats and shelves to put in the closet. Got some templates to make things easy and design the rest myself.
Hope she likes the wood!

Where did you get the templates from?

@ThomasHJ found it
Found it. It's from this website, where they have 3 different versions for sale. But at some point in time they offered the DIY-plans below for free.

If you want to download it directly from their website, you can find this plan and 2 others here.

But those links do not work any more?!

The link in the reply did not work, could be my old phone. The templates are there. 2 are from the website below, just place them in the shopping basket and pay nothing. https://www.vanhackers.de/pages/diy-bauanleitungen-fur-deinen-vw-california-campervan
I could post the PDF files here, but i don't think they would like it.
The templates for the wardrobe shelves i found here in an older topic. Don't remember the original post. I downloaded the pictures from that post. I am using them to recreate something like the ones sold at the volkswagenshop.

You are teasing me surely? I mean, they're just round bits of rubber :D

Visited the Glasgow Camping and Caravan Show yesterday having recently purchased our new Cali Ocean. Had delayed a number of purchases until attending the show so had a clear idea of what we wanted.
- Cadac 2 Cook 3 Pro with 907 compatable attachement. Silicon tongues and nylon spatula included for free as show special offer.
- Cadac paella pan.
- Brunner Venetian Midday 12 piece set.
- Brunner colander.
- Brunner Pirate alu cooking set.
Also joined the C&C Club and CAMC - both with 2 x free booking vouchers.

Also considered drive-away awnings but remain undecided and will wait until we’ve been away for a few more nights. Inclined towards a Vango Faros III, although they didn’t have one at the show which may have swayed us. Looked at mattress toppers for bottom bed too, but very little on display other than inflatable offers from Vango and OR. UKCustommattress had good value memory foam toppers but the 5cm one very bulky for rear shelf.

All in all a good day out and delighted with our haul. New revised Cadac 2 Cook 3 Pro in particular looks like an excellent portable BBQ option and top build quality. Only regret is that I wasn’t able to look at Duvalay sleeping bags.
Instead of one 5cm topper, you could get two “singles” at 58cm width - fit upstairs and downstairs. Ours are from Duvalay.

Good tip about Cadac 2 Cook 3 Pro - will take a look.
