Where do you store your fly screens?

I've just bought some Jerba midge screens ahead of a 2 week trip to the Black Forest. Obviously they're a little fragile, where does everyone else store them in an SE/Ocean?

In my Beach, I stored them between the mattress on the rear multiflex.

What about on the upper bed?

Between the folds of the lower mattress if we take it. If not, they go in with the chairs in the tailgate.

Agree, also means you don’t need to leave the van to fit, or is that a Scottish midge paranoia

Just on an aside, are the Jerba ones a finer mesh and midge-proof? My 6.1 is due to come with the VW screens but they're a coarse mesh I believe and won't keep the Highland beasts out.

Their website is a bit confusing; it says they sell them singly or in pairs but it’s not clear what the £50 gets you. Sounds like a worthwhile investment though

Change the mesh in the vw ones, a butter knife, scissors, midge netting and about 15mins each to do.

I store mine in the drawer under the rear seats. It’s a perfect fit.
