Actually he’s correct, just checked & apparently it also make a sound when driving forwards below 20mph…but can’t say I have ever noticed it.
The AVAS rule, written by the EU, was implemented in 2019 when we were EU members so it’s in our legislation too. All ev cars manufactured from 2021 are required to have it on sun 20km/h.
Interested to know what that £70k will be in 10 years when the batteries might need replacing...
