Anyone else have problems with wifi at COTF?

Also when doing a search on wifi networks this morning I picked up 3 x MotorhomeWifi networks and about 10 mifi networks, sadly they were all encrypted :(

I had my Netgear Aircard (mobile broadband) with me. It worked fine until Saturday. I was wondering if all of the Motorhome wifi's and Iboost played it up.

I was connected to a BT Fon signal via iBoost, and used my EE Buzzard to stream Wimbledon as the Fon signal was too slow. I think there wasn't a very good bandwidth available in the area. Also used the Breen Downs Pub signal as a guest but you are limited to 30mins without paying for access.

One of the Motor Home Wifi signals you could see was probably mine.. We had a good BT Fon signal that was ok for general web browsing, Tapatalk, YouTube, Twitter, etc but not for live streaming.

After struggling to get and hang on to my wifi connection at campsites in the UK and France I recently bought a repeater and aerial off the Internet to see if that would help out.

As I had it at with me I thought I would try it out at the COTF so paid my £10 for the 4 days and connected up. I must say it worked fine, I watched the tour live on Eurosport without too much much stuttering and it stayed connected up. There was a spell Sat evening I think when the whole thing seemed to go down but it did come back after a while.

Also with my repeater I had all our devices permanently connected to it so wasn't restricted to only 2 directly via the campsite one.

What equipment specifically did you buy?

I bought mine from Solwise, they specialise in this type of kit, I think it cost under £80 and I set it up with my router at home separately registering all our devices to it so when I switched on at the COTF they all connected up.

I went for
1x WL-USBWIFIRPT-3000 (USB to WiFi Repeater AP)
1x NET-WL-ROCKET_BGN (Outdoor USB b/g/n adapter with 9dBi)
