Just wanted to add that everything arrived today (very quick delivery) and I couldn't be happier. Many thanks to everyone in the shop :thumb

Always loved these glue pistols!
For those who don't have, buy a balloon :thumb
Auberg-ine water bottle.jpgFor bottles fitting +- the size of your hose: rolled up balloon 'mouth' functions as rubber joint, on the other side cut a hole at the end and fold over the tube; cut a whole in the screw cap, put the hose from inside then screw the cap back at the bottle. Condoms might do the trick as well :D
Or just buy one of these great glue pistols and just glue cap and hose together (most bottles have identical screw caps). Enjoy!

If bottle is much bigger, simply cut a disc of duct tape, stick it in the inside of the screwcap, cut it radial, then fix it to the inside of the hose.

That just looks rude! I bought an angled funnel from ebay which makes filling up super easy. About a fiver.

sure, but then you just miss all the fun :D
(I also use a simple funnel hanging at the rail)

For our 2011 California I bought the premium fabric seat covers from the shop. https://vwcaliforniaclub.com/shop/product/premium-gti-fabric-seat-covers-vw-california

I had to order 2 extra headrest covers because my California has the 18 cm headrests instead of the 21 cm headrests of the later models.

After having installed the seat covers (about 3 to 4 hours work), they look as good and fit like the original upholstery. Great product though and they are also airbag deploy-safe!

When we are away in certain countries we prefer to buy bottled water to fill the tank and thais makes it a bit easier.
Okay, thought about this and made a simpler version this lunchtime;

30mm OD Tube long enough to pass into the tank, fast fill, no spills.
(yes I know its fifthly, sand storm over here :) )

You got me triggered as well. I was just thinking to simply take a new funnel which come with the AdBlue, and put it completely inside, and simply retract when needed. I can close it afterwards. Just still have to figure out how to lock it.

If it’s bottles you want to fill it with:

Or cut a bit of the funnel and the cap, pull the funnel through it and screw the cap back on. Closes perfectly.
