Spring clean time????
Because of where we live I have long been an advocate of always making sure your water drains are clear, clean and run free....... so this morning I removed my awning and brackets. Here are pics of before and after cleaning!

Just a tad.........but I would rather say just a good job done with a positive outcome.......mind it took me most of the day!

Moved it from one side of the drive to the other and turned it round so the sun hits it from a different side. Couldn't believe how it still smelt new, which transported me back to the last day of August last year (a Saturday) when it was sat on our drive but I couldn't use it until Sunday.

I was followed around Maidstone by a police car, and a police van pulled alongside and the passenger gaped at me at the A20 lights five minutes from home. Road traffic was very light, and vehicle speeds notably low. The M20 upgrade to smart motorway between the M26 junction and Maidstone is complete.

The collection was remarkably sensible. I had pre paid by bank transfer. After pulling into the hatchery's drive I turned around. I took the dog crate out of the van, and placed it on a table. After returning to the car, the farmer took the crate away and filled it with my chickens. After placing it back on the table indicated that all was ready. I loaded the van, snapped a photo, and drove off.
