On a day following snow, and -4 degrees, isn’t it awesome to pick up a remote and switch the diesel heater on from the warmth of the home, put the kettle on, and watch the ice and snow melt off your beloved. Then, after not too long at all, sit in your toasty California 4motion and drive comfortably on to your day. Happy Winter. Drive considerately, stay safe.

I have to agree 100%. It was so nice being able to sit indoors eating my porridge while the diesel heater defrosted and warmed up the van yesterday, without me having to venture outside.

I’m heading off to the New Forest tomorrow, for the weekend, so I’m sure I’ll get to use it over the next few days too

I rescued an elderly couple today who were stuck in a car park on Dartmoor. They were frozen trying to dig their car out, having extracted them from the snow I made them a cup of tea to warm up inside my toasty van. The Cali is a wonderful vehicle for all weathers, especially a 4Motion. I wouldn’t dream of mothballing mine for the winter, that’s what you do with motorhomes isn’t it?

Is that what that little fan button widget on my keys is?! Awesome!

My Motorhome is plugged in to the EHU with the Truma set to +5 degrees on ECO electric and ECO Fan, it remains frost free, and ready to go for the princely sum of £1.00 per day.

The garage is attached to the house and very well sealed up though I will put some bait down to be safe. She will be back out to play end of February. Our 12 year old GSD is very ill so not able to get out much at the minute.
