Perhaps, when I phoned they asked for a number that I found stuck to the pillar inside the drivers door, but I am sure they will tell you what they need.

Hi all, I went to my local VW garage, got a quote for a timing belt kit, and the VIN number came up as a California Coach.
 
Do you realise this is possibly the longest " Purchase " thread in the history of the Forum. Only Joking.
Just be happy with the vehicle you choose and I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for good news on Saturday/Sunday, + photos.

Sure its good to talk ;) but the forum has been fantastic, a real education. And I've learned so much so hopefully I'll make a good purchase.
 
Just ff the phone with VW customer service, everything checks out.

Hi all, I'm delighted to say that I drove home last night in a VW California Freestyle. Fantastic drive home, very comfy. We are heading for our first spin today to the local beach so I'll send some photos later.
