12v TV troubleshooting

I have a 12v TV that previously worked but now won't start up unless on EHU. It 'tries' to start and flickers briefly so getting power but maybe not enough? 12v socket is working fine for everything else. Any suggestions as to how to fix?

Could be a poor connection in the 12v socket.
You could try it in another 12v socket, by sliding door.
Measure the voltage using a plug in voltmeter on the 12v socket being used.

Thanks WelshGas, tried the other 12v sockets but no joy, same issue.

Try using the mains lead via the inverter. That's how I power my 12v sometimes when not connected to the mains.

Will try the inverter option for sure. Tried it in another car earlier but had same problem so at least it ruled out the California! Had another look at the 12v cable and replaced the glass fuse with one from another plug in and hey presto, it worked! Thanks for all the replies
