With older vehicles like this, in bygone days you might buy a used "good" engine and swap the original out.

However, who would trust a used biturbo engine given it's reputation ?

Can you buy a used good single turbo engine- but strap [new] biturbo ancillaries/ turbos/ egr to it? Or does the biturbo have a different block/ pistons/ head/ inlet ??

Thanks

It should be perfectly possible to transplant at 140 engine in place of 180

180 is not the same ancillary parts and cannot be bodged up to make a 150 fit a 180 spec , lower engine (block etc is the same) upper engine (twin turbos, pipe work etc etc are not )

Almost deffo a different cam and ECU. Nice try tho :cheers
