Off to France (again). Crossing to Caen. Airbnb in Paris for a few nights (finding a place with secure parking for a loaded cali wasn’t easy !). Then down to Limoges and across to Lacanau for 10 days by the beach before a slow drive back North to St Malo. Can’t wait!

We are heading to Corsica, have you managed to pre-book any campsites, doesn’t seem too easy to find places?

Apologies for not replying sooner, been off grid.
We are not camping in Corsica, the luxury of sleeping in the van whilst hosted by French friends near Bonifaccio.
We have pre booked a site just north of Rome. South of Rome in Sperlonga, the site wants a booking of 7 days minimum or to contact just prior for availability. In June, we are just gonna chance it and turn up at site. Pre booked a site on west coast of Sardinia with top references.

Have you sailed before? Contemplating it but worried will b choppy and not the relaxing experience I’d like to start and end the holiday- I don’t hve sea legs!!!

Hi @Cali~Bean we have done it plenty of times over the last 30 years, firstly towing a caravan and with our campervan the last 12 years. In all that time we’ve only had a couple of rough crossings in fairness. So it’s fingers crossed!

Apart from the UK, we will be going to Holland next week to visit the Tulip Fields and then further explore northern Holland and Germany.

In September, 2 weeks in our favourite destination near Freiburg, Germany.

We take 2 dogs with us and last year obtained German Pet Passports to avoid the expensive UK/EU "Animal Health Export Certificate"

What is your favourite destination in Freiburg? We are in that neck of the woods in June and any recommendations would be good!

Hi, we head just a little south to Staufen and then 5km east to Münstertal- 5 star camping. The whole area is fantastic and normally has very good weather. -that's we've been going there for over 20 years !
