Hadnt thought of using it whilst driving ,tend to put it on then go for a long bike ride .If I was to use it whilst driving think I would stick it in collapsible bucket or bowl so if were any spills would catch them

Thanks, that's encouraging. Also means I should be able to get an EU pin set for my laptop charger, something Apple will probably charge me more than the laptop for!

You don't need an Apple lead, just get a cheap Euro to figure-8 and it will fit.

Inverter saves the day (or evening).

Plugged the Avtex TV into the 12v power socket when on site the other evening (no electric points on site) to find that the socket had fused. Fortunately I had packed the 3 pin power supply for the Avtex as well. Plugged this into the 3 pin converter cable for the inverter and hey presto! Simple but brilliant!
