Picked up the Beach today :D :D

Very smooth handover from Laine at Tonbridge VW.

Managed an average (according to trip computer) of 44.5 MPG on the way back. This was mostly motorway at 60MPH, but with some start and stop in M25 queues, and a few miles of town driving at either end. Quite impressed for a new engine, not yet run in.

Just need to get used to driving the bigger vehicle now!

Good stuff, keep us up to speed on extras you like, don't etc.

Anything you can add to Leisure Battery thread would be very beneficial for many. :thanks

Happy travelling

Looks like you already have on the battery front!!!
Top man!

Whoo hoo, fingers crossed we'll get ours next week. Please post any tips, suggestions! Enjoy

Well done :)

How exciting - it felt okay to drive - fairly smooth?

What was the start stop like

Easy to drive, but definitely wouldn't want one without parking sensors!

Start stop is ok, but only works when engine is up to temperature.

Hill holder takes a bit of working out.

All round no problems.

Ah I see - that explains why it didn't work for me when I test drove one. Parking sensors seemed like a must.

How does the hill holder work?
