Many thanks - that confirms the part number for the replacement Beach bellows - do you know if its the same part number for the ocean bellows -

Does anyone know if the ocean bellows is a straight swap for the Beach roof ? The chap at listers didnt know and suggested i call VW customer services

Thanks

Select year of vehicle then select Body section , I think, and scroll down to roof.

I’d do the same as @CannonDale, give Breeze a ring and ask them to refit it. If you try yourself you may invalidate any warranty on it. I’m sure once they see your photos they’ll see the issue.

When I fitted my own bellows I noticed they are marked up with alignment marking lines just behind each front corner on each side just a above the seal that is inserted into the roof.
So no excuse for not getting it lined up.

Just had ours replaced by a VW technician (as a foreigner). The new bellows have come away from the roof at the driver’s side rear corner. The technician has refitted once but it has happened again. He says the problem may be that there is some oxidisation(?) on the roof that is compromising the join. Next thing he will try will be glue. Photo below, there is oxidisation but doesn’t show up well in the photo unfortunately. Our Cali is 13 years old.

Just for info

I have asked @breeze and VW Customer services- they deny any fault and suggested going for second opinion locally. Went to @Lancashire and they directed me back to + Breeze. @breeze asked local dealer to fix if they feel there is an issue and offered to pay the local dealer (if they saw fault). @breeze and VW customer services have gone silent.
