Stop/start or start/stop? Had an interesting situation this week when the start/stop cut in just after pulling away with a cold engine. I had been parked up for several hours on the clifftop carpark at Woolacombe. Went from second to third gear and the start/stop A came up in the MFD. The engine cut out and so did the power steering! I managed to stop but it was a bit u-nerving. It has happened twice before approaching roundabouts going from third to second gear. I managed to coast around the roundabout again with no steering! Anyone else had any similar experiences? Been at the dealers for two days - no fault has come up on the computer as yet.
